We are looking for an experienced AML/KYC Analyst to join our compliance team in Dallas, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding the financial system by identifying and investigating potential money laundering and other suspicious activities. This position offers an opportunity to ensure adherence to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth investigations of alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Analyze customer transaction patterns to identify inconsistencies with expected behavior.
• Perform due diligence on flagged transactions to determine their legitimacy and ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings for review by senior compliance personnel or regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary documentation for customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes.
• Stay informed on anti-money laundering regulations and apply them effectively in daily operations.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to remain updated on regulatory changes and compliance best practices.
• Work with technology teams to optimize and improve transaction monitoring systems for better performance.• Proven experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) compliance roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify unusual patterns and inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear and concise reports.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
