We are looking for a high-performing Freight Broker with proven experience in perishables and refrigerated freight . This is a remote position , but candidates must be located near Madison, WI for occasional in-person collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full freight brokerage process: prospecting, booking, tracking, and delivery. Handle temperature-sensitive loads with precision and urgency. Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and customer requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics solutions. Qualifications: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in freight brokerage, specifically in refrigerated/perishable freight . Demonstrated success in cradle-to-grave operations. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with TMS platforms and load boards. Must be based near Madison, WI .
