Location: Tukwila, WA / Hybrid Schedule

6+ month contract

Compensation: $48 -$57 hourly DOE / Full Benefits*

U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required

Concordis is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 6+month contract role working with a client that is headquartered in Tukwila, WA. This is an opportunity to work with a member-focused, community-oriented financial institution that goes beyond traditional banking to help people achieve their financial goals. Job Description: Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creative design and electronic production of advertising materials, marketing pieces, and promotions for print and online campaigns. The Graphic Designer will have advanced design and desktop publishing production experience. This person is responsible for creating and presenting design concepts; direction and execution to marketing team members for review and approval, as well as continually communicating throughout the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with our Competencies, compliance, regulatory and information protection requirements.
  • Develop and deliver design concepts for assigned campaign materials to completion and handle multiple projects in print advertising, direct mail, electronic media, collateral, and promotion.
  • Incorporate brand identity and approved design assets into every project with adherence to the design standards.
  • Collaborate with internal copywriter and Marketing management to develop concepts that will inform development of excellent creative solutions for assigned projects.
  • Explore innovative and creative solutions for marketing and continue to expand capabilities to capitalize on opportunities relevant to our products and services.
  • Utilize our electronic marketing workflow to manage work for distribution and review.
  • Responsible for obtaining all appropriate approvals from project team on design projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years of graphic design experience required. Experience in financial services or other customer sales driven industry preferred.
  • Excellent design composition, technical production, and project management skills required.
  • Previous experience creating press ready files with the ability to see projects through each stage of the design process required.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player while using discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving required.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in designing projects to specifications and proofreading required.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, or other related software required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, hardware, and other related software required.
  • Experience with Flash, HTML, Adobe After Effects and SharePoint a plus.
  • Intermediate understanding of design for digital environments, with a working knowledge of multimedia production and relevant social media channels required.
  • Deadline driven and aligned with marketing management to complete assignments within designated timeframes required.
  • Ability to concept, organize and present material for clients required.
  • Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time required.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly contract rate range $48 - $57 hourly DOE
