We are looking to continue building out our Content team based in San Diego, CA. This is a part-time (15—20 hours/week) remote or hybrid role. For candidates based near San Diego, CA, Boston, MA, or Washington, D.C., there is an opportunity to come into our downtown office on Wednesday and/or Thursday (team in-office days).

Job Title:  Part-Time Contract Graphic Designer

Department:  Content

Hours:  15–20 hours per week

Location:  Remote, Hybrid (Optional)

Contract type:  1099 Contractor; 1-Year Contract, with intention to renew annually for the right long-term fit

Responsibilities

We're seeking a versatile, creative, and self-directed Graphic Designer to join our content team on a part-time, contract basis. In this role, you'll own all graphic design initiatives for our health content and support product, product marketing, and SEO-related visual needs. You'll collaborate closely with the VP of Content and cross-functional teams to ensure our visual materials are on-brand, engaging, and effective. To do that, you will need to:

• Create eye-catching graphics for flyers, newsletters, and internal/external communications
• Design branded assets for product-facing wellness challenges and initiatives
• Build visually compelling webinar slide decks with input from the VP of Content
• Develop collateral such as handouts, one-pagers, and infographics for various teams
• Create graphics and templates for video content, including title slides and supporting visuals
• Assist with website graphics and contribute to Figma design projects as needed
• Manage and prioritize incoming requests through our graphics request form
• Collaborate across teams to gather input, clarify needs, and ensure visual consistency
• Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure quick turnaround on graphics without sacrificing quality

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or content role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print design work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
• Experience designing for web, email, and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and excellent visual communication skills
• Comfortable receiving and integrating feedback from various stakeholders
• Experience with health, wellness, or SaaS brands is a plus
• Familiarity with video editing tools or motion graphics is a bonus but not required
