Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Defense Patrol in Aurora, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in supporting a leading aerospace and defense location by conducting regular patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. This unarmed patrol position offers the opportunity to interact with a variety of individuals, respond to incidents, and assist with access control and badge verification. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the aerospace and defense environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and first aid skills are preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
