Lesley University is seeking a Music Therapy Temporary Core full-time faculty to join the Expressive Therapies department, integrating counseling and various arts. The candidate will teach courses in the Music Therapy specialization (face to face, hybrid, online). Responsibilities include teaching core Music Therapy courses, participating in accreditation, student engagement, recruitment, admissions, and advising. The program trains students to practice in various professional settings and meets academic and field training requirements for mental health counselor licensure in Massachusetts. Candidates should have a Master's degree (preferably in Music therapy, expressive therapies, counseling, or related field), Music therapy credentials (MT-BC), teaching experience in higher education, 2+ years FTE clinical experience (5+ preferred), and a record of scholarly activity. Preferred qualifications include ability to teach Music Therapy Clinical courses, experience with AMTA accreditation, and ability to teach general counseling courses.
